Asociación Vivamos is a non-profit organization with the goal of raising abandoned children in an environment that will turn them in well educated, self-reliant, good, law-abiding citizens.

Violence, poverty, high unemployment rates, and class differences affect many children in Colombia . Our society must take decisive and definitive action to protect them from these issues.

We focus on children that had been declared by the government to be in total abandon (no responsible family or guardian to take care of them). These children have been traumatically separated from their families, denied their human rights, and psychologically disturbed due to unfortunate situations like family violence, or child abuse.

Our goal has a long-term vision. By reaching our goal, we are reducing the social impact caused by people raised in an environment without the support of a caring family. These children will eventually become adults. They require special attention if we want to break the cycle of our social issues.

Our organization ( Asociación Vivamos ) will provide a well-rounded education to boys and girls declared in total abandon by our government, with the goal of turning them into men and women capable of positively contributing to our society, professionally and morally .
